Shannon Symonds is Curator for the International Center for the History of Electronic Games at The Strong National Museum of Play, where she collects, preserves, and interprets more than 60,000 artifacts related to gaming history. She has a master’s degree in history from the State University of New York College at Brockport, with a concentration on Japanese studies. She’s currently spearheading The Strong’s Women in Games initiative, which explores the contributions of women to the video gaming industry.
