MetroGnome

MetroGnome also allows the user to record and save their own rhythms and patterns, allowing them to save that pattern and re-play it any time they like.

The game is being developed primarily for mobile devices, but will be presented on a large touchscreen at GDC.

(If necessary, here’s a little bit about the design philosophy 🙂

The game teaches the accuracy of rhythm, and mimics instrument playing in a real band or ensemble. It can be used as an educational tool by teachers, and supplements student learning by providing another way of experiencing rhythm and the syncopation of different styles of music. The game is best played with sound, but is not required.
